Plot
At a Caribbean resort, doctor Kevin Riley (Eion Bailey) and his family take a carefree boat ride in the Bahamas that turns tragic when they are stranded on an island. Days passed and near death, they are rescued by a local fisherman, Miguel(Barkhad Abdi) who demands a million dollars to save them. Miguel, accompanied by Jorge then takes Kevin to shores, leaving Kevin's wife and son on the island as collateral to force Kevin pay the agreed amount. After making a few calls, Kevin managed to arrange around a fraction of the amount demanded as ransom, and had it transferred to Miguel's bank account. Kevin and the local fishermen then headed back to the island where they left Kevin's wife and son; Kevin, riding another boat locked up in the cabin. In the middle on the sea, Miguel punched a hole in Kevin's boat causing it to sink while Kevin still locked up in the cabin. Kevin managed to escape, and was rescued by a group of ferrying tourists. Back in town, Kevin was accused of paying the sum of money to the local fishermen to get rid of his family, and take advantage of their insurance benefits. After an intriguing turn of events Kevin finally manages to rescue his family.
